La-Femme women’s association which aims at self developments at its members and community service was born on 17th Feb 2003. The association was inaugurated by Mrs.Sasichandran managing Director , NDF engg Industry. She spoke about women empowerment and empowered members at La-femme. On march 8th 2003 WOMEN’S DAY was celebrated .

The children at family for children podanur was invited to the campus to exhibit their talents. Gifts and Prizes were distributed to the children and they enjoyed their lunch in the Academy. Mrs.Vanitha founder of “SHARANALAYAM” kinathukadavu was the chief guest for the day. The members of La-femme Ms.Yogeshwari, Ms.Vaishnavi, Ms.N.Sangeetha and Ms.Bhuvaneaswari of 2nd year MBA donated their prize money of Rs1000/- towards Sharanalayam.

As a community service the members at La-femme contributed to the Tamilnadu Handloom Weavers by wearing KHADI SAREE on Mar 12th 2003. A self defense awareness programme & demonstration on the martial art TAEKWONDO was conducted to the members on 26th Sep 2003.

On Nov 3rd 2003 the members of La-femme association celebrated DIWALI by distributing sweets to the inmates of UDHAVUM KARANGAL,othakkalmandapam.

As a part of La-femme association acitivity various competitions was conducted to bring out the hidden talents of Academy students.

Feb 1st 0f 2004 is a very important day in the record of La-femme women’s association. La-femme in association with Rotract Club of Coimbatore Cosmos and Voluntary Health Service centre conducted a general medical camp and eye camp at Arasampalayam village.

La-femme celebrated its first anniversary on 17th feb 2004.The day was filled with fun and joy. Games were conducted to the members of La-femme.
